Front Desk Specialist Opening!

Summary: Responsible for greeting patients, verifying their demographic and insurance information, collecting payments, and posting charges by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities Include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  1. Greets patients.*
  2. Verifies insurance and scans insurance cards with a photo identification.*
  3.  Verifies patient demographic information.*
  4. Answers the phone in a pleasant manner.*
  5. Schedules appointments.*
  6. Verifies patient appointments for the next day.*
  7. Makes copies, faxes documents, and shreds documents within company protocals.*
  8. Takes accurate messages and conveys them to the doctor/medical assistance.*
  9. Opens the building at the designated time each day, ensures the readiness of the reception area, and ensures that the front desk activities are fully operational at the start of the business day.*
  10. Participates in staff and educational meetings.*
  11. Advises supervisor of items that need to be ordered for the front desk.*
  12. Manages incoming hospital consults/calls back paged to the doctors.*
  13. Collects and posts charges and payments according to protocols, prepares and balances daily financial registers, and submits all forms to their supervisor.*
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.


Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, internet software, and eClinical Works.

Education/Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:Valid driver’s license

Catheterization Laboratory Technologist Opening!

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Position Requirements:

  • A high school diploma and Associates Degree in a clinic or scientific field is preferred
  • Clinical registration or licensure as one of: RCVT, RN, LPN, CCPT, RRT or RTR
  • Looking for a candidate of at least 3 years of cath lab experience, and individuals who have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, dependable and motivated

Position Summary: Assist physicians in the tasks and responsibilities necessary in the performance of cardiac catheterization and peripheral angiography. Independently provide patient care, pre and post procedure, with minimal supervision.


  • Maintain & operate cath lab and recovery equipment
  • Use sterile techniques, set up and maintain the appropriate instrument and supply table for various procedures performed in the cath lab\
  • Assist the physicians in the cath lab procedures
  • Maintain and operate image processing equipment
  • Strong background in Hemodynamic monitoring & complex physiological processes

Accounts Receivable Specialist Opening!

Location: Jacksonville, FL at our Central Billing Office

Hours and days: Full-Time


  • Responsible for follow-up of all unpaid claims with insurance carriers
  • Work all incoming correspondence
  • Review and send appeals on claims
  • Work accounts to resolution

 Qualifications Include:

  • Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 and ICD-10
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to read and interpret EOB and ERA
  • Strong typing skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure to meet associated deadlines
  • Ability to be a positive team player and cross train in other billing job functions
  • Experience with EMR
  • E Clinical Works and Allscripts PM Experience a plus!

Certified Medical Assistant Opening!

Job Purpose: Helps patients by providing clinical and business office assistance in the offices and clinics of health care providers.

*Cardiology experience and/or Internal Medicine/Family Practice experience preferred
Looking for a Certified Medical Assistant for all of our locations**

Bilingual speaking candidate preferred but not required.


  • Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Prepares patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room; providing examination gowns and drapes; helping them to position themselves for the examination and/or treatment; arranging examining room instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
  • Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations; preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic laboratory tests on the premises; disposing of contaminated supplies; sterilizing medical instruments; administering medications on the premises; authorizing drug refills as directed; telephoning prescriptions to pharmacies; drawing blood; preparing patients for x-rays; taking electrocardiograms.
  • Educates patients by providing medication and diet information and instructions; answering questions.
  • Completes records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
  • Generates revenues by recording billing information of services rendered; completing insurance forms; responding to insurance and other third-party inquiries.
  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
  • Serves and protects the physician or health care provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
