David Weisman, MD

David Weisman, MD comes to FCCI from Philadelphia, where he completed his fellowship in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He is excited to connect with his patients and make a real impact in their lives. He brings with him a wealth of experience and skills in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, with a special interest in Device implantation, Cardiac Ablation, and Device Extraction.
Dr. Weisman graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City where he first became fascinated by the field of Cardiology. He then completed his residency in North Carolina at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. It was there that he developed his passion for the human heart and decided to pursue his interests in Philadelphia. It was at Hahnemann University Hospital, at the Drexel College of Medicine (Philadelphia, PA) , where he completed a fellowship in general cardiology and further pursued his passion by completing an additional fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology.
As an Electrophysiologist, he feels that he can provide his patients with advanced, cutting edge treatments to enhance their medical care. His top priority is improving the quality of life of his patients. Dr. Weisman believes that it all begins with the doctor-patient relationship and he hopes that he will be able to make a real difference. He understands that when patients come to see him, they are often overwhelmed and concerned about their well-being. Through trust and communication, he strives to put his patient’s at ease and empower them to make the best choice for their medical care.
When not at work Dr. Weisman spends his time with his loving wife. They are passionate about each other and about enjoying every minute of every day.
Dr. Weisman is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Nuclear Cardiology.
